Someone suggested selling slaves to the Morocanth. I've seen a couple of
different references that say that the Praxians don't sell praxians as
slaves to Morocanth. It's not equal to a making a ball of tails, but it
is just not done by right thinking people. (This naturally means that it
is done by some.) I would suspect they would be much less rigid about
selling non-praxian captives to the morocanth, but would probably try to
exchange them for praxians of their tribe if possible.
With the rep that Morocanth have outside Prax I would be inclined to think
that only really heartless people from outside Prax would sell prisoners
to Morocanth. It's one thing to keep them as slaves, but another to sell
them to someone who will eat them.
Of course slave traders are notoriously heartless . . .
