Me, on the 7m party trick

and Rob asks:

> What about the person being resurrected filling the 7th position?

I don't think so. What I meant was that the 7m resurrection ritual is one repeating the 7m's resurrection of the Red Goddess. This ritual seems to have been a modified version of the Light Bringers Quest, where you have seven questers trying to bring Yelm back to life.   In practice you may be right, since the seventh mythical position probably stays empty, the resurrectee is, de facto, the seventh person present... still, he is not _the_ unknown 7th mother "She Who Waits".

I've been thinking about this some more. I seem to recall speculations about lunars hoplites being brought back by the dozen in between battles. This might even be possible if the resurrection was done as a worship ceremony, with hundreds of 7m initiates present. This way the priestesses could probably spread out most of the cost among the initiates. Just think of the demoralizing effect on the sartarites who have the faze the opponents they had slain yesterday. The morale boosting effect on the Lunars own troops might even make it worth the cost and effort "The army takes care of its own".

Now if somebody would just figure out a way to get 36 hours into one day...
