Nonsense. Illumination reveals to the Illuminated that Chaos is an inherent part of the Ideal Universe. It neither increases nor diminishes the integration of Chaos vis a vis the world -- it merely reveals it to those with (third?) eyes to see.

Philip's claim is like saying "sight causes ugliness".
