Probably. But the exact nature is unknown and may be one of the following:

1. Delecti may be the Creator of the Ducks. Therefore they serve him as loyal quackimodos.
2. The Ducks because of their relationship with the Death Rune are the only ones able to ward of the undead horrors of Delecti.
