Nobody knows for certain what the Vadeli believe although there are no end to lurid and plain awful theories. The most popular is that the Vadeli believe in three elements: filth, blood and death. Each caste of the vadeli has magics attuned to one of the elements, ie the Browns are associated with filth, the Reds with blood and the Blues with death.
Their magic is sorcery. They pray to no Wicked Demiurge or Cthulhoid Outer God for they are atheists who know that after death is oblivion. The vadeli instead achieve immortality by performing horrific rites. Many are claimed to eat their own children. Others practice rites that can be found in the Great Vadeli debate in the archives.
