Please, open National Geographic vol 194 no 1 in page 92.

In column 2 you can find the next passage: "In January 1996 the badlands of Patagonia gave up the partial remains of a 90-million-year-old two-legged dinosaur with surprisingly birdlike limbs. Called Unenlagia, "HALF BIRD" in the language of the Mapuche indians (...)" Now, go back to page 90 and see the image of the Half Bird. Why am I mentionning this? Well, I always saw demi-birds, the dragonwet steed, as an ostrich-like creature. Not anymore. After reading NG I would suppose that the Gloranthan demi-bird should be akin to the Unenlagia. After all, this makes the demi-bird a member of the dinosaur family which in Glorantha is related to the dragon family.

According to this article, birds are realy members of the dinosaur family. In Gloranthan terms this means that birds would have some ancient connection to the dragon family. Can it be that even the Sun his an offspring of the dragon? (Yelm? That's a dinosaur, of course...)

Next, go to pages 82-83 where you can find a model of the Sinosauropterix. Make some changes to the model by shortening his tail, turning his feet into duck-like feet, and giving him a thumb in his hands. What do you get? A Durulz! Think of the consequences:
- - This makes the Durulz of the dinosaur family, and they live in Dragon
Pass. The related keets live in the east isles, not far from Kralorela. Could it be possible that the durulz and keets are connected with dragons?
- - Maybe the reason why the durulz survived in DP for so long is because
they are protected by the Dragonewts.
- - The durulz and keets are not birds that lost their wings but a pre-bird
creature that didn't evolve wings in the first place.
- - Maybe they are not Delecti's creatures, but Delecti has to tolerate them
because of the wrath of the dragon kind.
- - Maybe the strangeness of the durulz results from the fact that they have
some distant similarities to dragonwets: when they die they are reborn, but instead of progressing for an higher stage they remain always the same. That's why they lack a sense of history. And, yes, the Sinosauropterix has teeth...
