While I agree Gloranthan genetics isn't identical to ours (there's no doubt a strong Lamarckian component), I don't think mutation = Chaos. There are plenty of excuses for chance, even negative chance. You could blame Luck, Fate, or Disorder.

This is how she's portrayed in the computer game.

Which Robin Laws will be bringing to Convulsion -- though without a machine to run it on. Anyone who has a Power Macintosh or Pentium (Windows 95/98) laptop with at least 20 MB of RAM who wants to see the game should bring their computer.
