Some excellent stuff back there on Clan Initiations and how to do them. But only from the male view-point? The Initiation of Orlanth is all male, the Second Son is generally seen as being male (though I'm not sure about that): what about the more important 52% of the population?
Oh, and one bit I didn't get at all.

This is news to me! The only evidence of timing I know of is Minaryth Blue's "events
of my life". He starts initiation one year and finishes "early" the next (1611-1612),
but the impression I got was of a season or two. Not a year or three.
