You people talking about Arkats
This is a most fascinating thread (IMHO), unlike most of the HeroWars
rambling (also IMHO)
Would anyone be prepared to send me their ideas written as a piece that pulls the various discussions together. I don't have time at work to peruse the Digests in detail at the moment, and don't consider I know remotely enough to try and construct my own piece
Things that appeal are the illumination degrees of Arkati cultists, the rivalry between the cultists, types of relations between the cults. HeroQuests of the cults (I love it that the Arkat trolls go and get the wrong Arkat back), the cults position in societies
What about a spell that allows a head cultist to temporarily become (an) Arkat, like the Waha spell.
Are any of these cults holding positions like isolated groups of monks living in the mountains that people fear/distrust/rely on as guardians against Chaos ...
The possibilities are endless :)
This kind of thing is what I love, real mythology. You could always post it, if you'd like to run the risk of sifting the useful feedback from the deranged howlings of the experts in their own lunchboxes
