DETAIL CREATORS WANTED
August 28, 1998
Issaries is looking for individuals and small publishers to help us to discover and uncover Glorantha.
Issaries plans to publish a book per month. Even at that rate Issaries knows it cannot uncover as much information as the players will want to know. Issaries intends to define the largest overviews of the world, to set the standards for questions, places, and individuals of great import, and to publish the overall story arc, adventures and regional overviews. We need details.
Issaries invites you to join into the creative process by being a sublicensor of the corporation. We seek contributors to the official Gloranthan experience.

YOU GET:
Access to official, unpublished materials to research your publication.
Use (with permission) to quote Issaries material, possibly including previously unpublished material. Official approval for your published materials. Sales through Issaries contacts to the rest of the world. Glory and fame for your creativity.

ISSARIES GETS:
Your input on details of Glorantha.
5% of your print run, or 10 copies, whichever is greater; OR 5% royalty on net receipts, if your print run is large enough and your publication is professional enough to be distributed at a discount. (Reaching Moon MegaCorp products are of such standard.)
Subsequent reference to your materials in later publications or lore.

CAN I JUST FAN PUBLISH?
Fanzines which are regular periodicals can publish anything they want, without any permission, as long as it does not infringe on copyright or trademarks. A regular periodical is one which takes subscriptions, and which appears at least three times a year. They should carry this credit line: "Hero Wars and Glorantha are the trademarks of Issaries, Inc., and reference here does not make any claim upon those rights." AND "The material herein is unofficial and not approved by Issaries, Inc." Anyone else who wishes to publish material on Glorantha which does not appear in a professional periodical must be pre-approved. Issaries strongly supports these independent gaming fanzines and professional magazines and encourages new authors to support and contribute to them to aquire publication experience.

These terms are open to negotiation on a publication by publication basis, and are subject to periodic reappraisal and modification.
