A certain "cack-handed" colleague of mine has been known to use the term "left footed" to denote persons of the "wrong religion", to boot. This is also a "popular" expression in the west of Scotland, though the religious persuasion thus denoted is entirely different -- which is vaguely logical, if confusing.
ObGlorantha: there's a rather nifty passage in Harmast's Saga where the Orlanthi are Winding Up the Dara Happans, with specific reference to the particular purpose for which DHns use their left hands... (Though terranalogophobes will presumably hate this.)
