I think that the Orlanth Adventurous write-up in CoP is describing the cult as it appears in Prax, where much of the social background of the Orlanth cult, compared to Sartar, is missing. Maybe more of a 'Orlanth the Rebel' cult? It would propably be more open than the Orlanth the Warrior cult in Sartar and other 'Barbarian Belt' orlanthi areas, where OW has a more defined role _in_ society to fill.

        The CoP write-up also states:
'In Prax, Orlanth provides an acceptable outlet for the dissidents who do not wish to follow the rigid role models of the Waha and Eiritha cults, yet wish to remain with the tribe.' (CoP, p78)

This implies to me that the CoP writeup describes (partially, at least) the OtA cult of the Praxians, which would differ from the Sartarite version. All IMO, of course.
