The Sedalpists are sort of offshoots of the God Learners who survived the destructions at the end of the Imperial Age. They live in Umathela, where they have to deal with aldryami on a regular basis. And survived attacks by aldryami, uz, and lascerdan deities. So it's understandable they're a bit touchy

Dave Pearton plays one in my game. Sadly, he has to put up with an aldryami travelling companion, though I think he secretly relishes the opportunity to abuse him with withering invective.
