Horsey types

This is one of those things I've never quite managed to get my head around - can anyone tell me briefly (or point me towards a source) about the relationships (if any) between the Grazer folk of Dragon Pass, the Pol Joni, The Pure Horse Tribe of Prax, and the Pentan nomads?

I have read King of Sartar so I know about the marvellouslynamed  Derek Poljoni (and his brothers Colin, Wally and Stan?) There'll be no racial connection there as they're Sartarites by blood but perhaps they got the techniques of horse-borne life from one of the other groups?
