Yes, which is why I ran my playtest in Umathela, just to make sure it could handle non-Sartar (although I'll admit the storm-worshipping Umathelans aren't radically different). The rules seemed to handle a pretty diverse range of characters.

Hard to judge, given how few characters have died in the two previous campaigns (not counting the time several characters agreed to die).

First number is your target: roll this or above on d20. Second number are your Status Points when starting a contest with that skill; the more the better, as when you drop to 0 you're out of the contest.
