Orlanth Archery, Horses, Only Fools

I personally dislike archery using Orlanthi. Actually, I dislike most missile combat as I generally think it makes RPG games complicated, what with ranges and rates of fire and all that stuff. I tend to feature a high wind in most outdoor combats to reduce archery success anyway (as a GM that is). Cults of Prax notes that "Orlanth defeated all of the Elemental Deities in combat and gained use of their weapons at some point during the Gods War. " also "they pride themselves in using all weapons".

I still don't like archery, unless it is by some specialist (because archers need a lot of practice), and I like the fact that there a very few longbows in Glorantha.

Horse Riding: I like to think that Orlanthi don't have any good horsey skills. Leave that to Pentans, Grazelanders, and people to whom the horse is central to their myths. I think primitive Orlanthi (eg Brolians) would consider horseriders as likely to be bad, foreigners or worse.

Rodney Poljoni: whatever happened to Rodney Poljoni, Derek's brother? Are Delboy and Rodney Poljoni by any chance related to the BBC Sitcom "Only Fools and Horses"?
