Actually, carefully read the write-up. The Cult of Orlanth in ROCmore accurately Orlanth as he is worshipped by the Sartar exiles and immigrants who live in New Pavis and the Garhound lands, if you want to be entirely technical. The write up also states that the forms presented are fairly universal for most Orlanthi everywhere. I do concede there are local differences (The Humath/Orlanth Ralios split, for example), but Orlanth worship and myths as presented in RoC is pretty much the Orlanth that is honored in Sartar, rebellious Tarsh, southern Peloria and Esrolia. At least, until it gets affirmed or Gregged in the new Hero Wars material...

Interesting document, but if memory serves correctly Elmal left the fire tribeboth because Orlanth bested him in combat as well as the fact that he recognized the true Injustice and buckling into Pride and Chaos of his father, Yelm. That's the reason why Yelm went to hell and was slain... his own Justice demanded it!

Also, let me quote Myth...One of Orlanth's titles if Master of Weapons, and stole or won all weapons from the other various Elemental deities during the Storm Age. This is why Orlanthi will use any weapon that's handy! Although they prefer sword, which is Storm's weapon. From what I can remember, this is a major theme of the Four Magic Weapons subcults. I'm sure that at the Hill of Gold, Orlanth nicked that groovy golden spear and armor of Yelmalio, and handing them over to his loyal Thane, Elmal. IIRC, this is why Wind Lords can claim any weapon as an additional Rune Lord skill, in CoP.

Aloha!
