Longbows vs Self Bows

Greg said that the Orlanthi have no long bows.

I guess he meant that the average Orlanthi fyrd has no units of Welsh longbowmen, Agincourt-style...

However: show me a competently made self bow made for temperate climate, and I'll show you a longbow. Even if most professional marksmen may be able to use it in Welsh fashion, your average archer will be no better than the French longbowmen of the 100 years war.
