I agree. Enough information about Hero Wars as it stood as of the last playtest release has been divulged here on the Digest, and we are unlikely to see anything new until the game is actually published. As far as I know, the game system will be published more-or-less as it stands - to abuse a phrase, "evolution, not revolution". We are highly unlikely to see any major structural changes to core concepts such as target numbers, SPs, Levels of Mastery, or extended contests. If i'm wrong, it is unlikely to be due to anything that has been said here.

I don't want to sound preachy, but I don't see where this subject is going any more - I think it has served its purpose.

I do, however, think it would be a good idea for Issaries Inc. to put a "Coming soon: Hero Wars" article on their web page, with a quick intro to the game system, and maybe a short example of play.

PS. There is no playtesters mailing list, although most of us have each others' email addresses. Robin has discouraged inter-playtest group discussion.
