I agree with this as well but would like to add/repeat my point about bows requiring far more training to be effective. I still think it should be more difficult (and require more training/practice) to ping a little point stick through the air at a target a long way off than it would be to hit somone over the head with a big stick if they are standing next to you. RQ rules do not really reflect this increased skill factor, I don't expect HW is going to attempt it (?). This was the reason crossbows were preferred to longbows, and I expect why gunpowder replaced longbows (not sure on this point). Back in glorantha, unless you're highly respected for practicing all day with your arrows then I do not believe you would be able to do it. This leaves it to Dara Happan nobles, riding chariots and shooting lions; Pentans who don't have much to do all day but ride around shooting at rabbits; elves who use it as a novel way of propagating cuttings, erm, that's it.
