I don't think this is a requirement, but it's not unreasonable. (It probably is a requirement in certain clans.)

What ever for? The only legal information we have on the Orlanthi lists extraordinarily few capital crimes: secret murder, rape, regicide, betraying cult secrets, consorting with chaos, descecration of Orlanthi holy places, and deliberately breeding disease. I don't see these as being very common events (no matter that my character is an accessory to regicide), and don't see how a subcult so specialized could be supported. Especially since in most of these cases, the accused is unlikely to stand trial (he'll be hunted down and killed by the community).

A specific hero, perhaps, if you must.
