This is a question I've been meaning to ask. If Shargash/Orlanth are, to some
extent, the same deity, where does Humakt come in. Is Shargash a combination
of Humakt and Orlanth or are Humakt and Orlanth worship simply aspects of
Shargash foolishly worshipped by Barbarians? But Humakt is the Carmanian god
of Death, linked to Yanafal Ta'arnils- surely a Mother wouldn't be mistaken.
Perhaps this is how Yanafal defeats Humakt, by revealing another Shargash
aspect.
