Keith Nellist:

<< Am I correct in thinking that with the sun in the north (and therefore appearing higher) in the sky over Genertela when it is hottest (fire season), and in the South ( and therfore appearing lower in the sky in Genertela) when it is weakest that there is more seasonality in the North than in the South.>>

There are indications that seasonality, in the sense of varying temperature (as opposed to say, rainfall) is more extreme in the north. Jolar, for instance, is said to be 'mild year-round', implying a general lack of variation. However, indications are that the sun is sufficiently far away that it appears in almost the exact same part of the sky no matter what part of the Inner World you are in. I put forward a similar theory to yours some time last year (albeit for different purposes) and was thoroughly disabused of the notion :-)

Forward the glorious Red Army!
