Its your GM's call in that game. That said; the Orlanthi actually have a choice (unlike us poor RW mob it seems that they CAN choose their relatives). This would mean that the child would be disposed as pleased the chief. Gloranthan mythic reasons ARE the social reasons (same in RW really). What those particular reasons are has yet to be defined. The girl would probably still be related closely enough to make her taboo.

P.S. my sympathy on your rabbitty feelings. Just done it myself & am now staring down the barrel of fatherhood. More like a bunny in a spotlight.
