I think you'll find that I did _not_ suggest this. Inappropriate to
the setting, yes; unimportant, no. Not only is the end-result
inappropriate, I feel, the method 'seems wrong': one could hardly
conceive of a more 'materialistic' application for _divine_ magic.

These two opinions are, if you think about them, coming to the same conclusion: Glorantha is magic rich, people who need to find out where to go have appropriate magic skills, think 'Pathway' , 'Find Sun Dome', 'Hold Course' . Why would an Orlanthi farmer want a detailed map of anything? He knows his own lands better than anyone can with a piece of paper. A map is only one solution to the problem of knowing where things are.
