Well, I don't really think that there was much sailing going on on the Mournsea either, with the Ramalian position only slightly more extreme than the rest of Slontos, but neither that the Closing did isolate the coastal islands. That would have been unique on the Genertelan coasts, not even the Pasos Isles were isolated.

At least the text is attributed to the wrong picture. It might attribute the wrong people to the event mentioned. Which temple in the Rightarm Isles do you think is depicted here?

The ship Harrek took over when it attacked the one he had taken from Sog City to Seshnela (article in Tales #10)? That makes already two ships, and a likely stop at Ginorth to recruit more.

There are people who would claim that Harrek afloat in a bathing tub was a pirate fleet...

Nice summary of the facts, and no problem with this. Harrek's plundering of Sog City takes place sometime in 1615. We know from Esrolia 1624 and Boldhome 1630 that Harrek enjoys a prolonged drunk after a successful plunder, so he may have left Fronela only late in 1615, or even early in 1616. Given the sailing condition in Dark and Storm Season (Missing Lands p.98f), and Harrek's lack of nautical experience - and likely also lack of trust - I find Sea Season 1616 most likely.

A case of misunderstanding, once again.

Not to me either. See below.

My story is very simple and covers all the facts mentioned in Genertela Book p.13 and the Wolf Pirates article in Tales 10:

Harrek, having raided Sog City, sets sail from Fronela for Seshnela (1615 or 1616).

Wolf Pirates raid his ship, he slays dozens of them.

Wolf Pirates see his potential as leader, bring him to Ygg's Isles.

Harrek quests (surely more than just arrives?) to become champion of Ygg, has Ice Serpent built. Neither will have been done overnight.

In 1617, Harrek sets sail to Threestep Isles with half the Yggling population. (This too will have required some preparations. Viking migration sagas to Iceland usually have a year of preparations - sedentary goods and land to be exchanged into travel goods.)

My only omission is the legend of that White Bear & Red Moon cover in Glorantha Book, for the reasons above. Peter's version has the advantage of covering that event, mine has the advantage of simplicity.
