I wonder if anyone would be interested in a Gloranthan cookbook, with attached histories and myths?

Spotted Water Dog (also called Zola-Poly)

1 average sized newtling tail, skinned (4-6 kgs) small cup honey, large pinch salt, 2 drams ground cinnamon
1/2 dram ground nutmeg, double handful of dried currants
large cup milk, 2 eggs, lightly beaten, large cup flour

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in the currants, breaking them apart (the flour will coat them and keep them from clumping together). Add the milk, eggs and honey, and work the mixture thoroughly with your hands, then rub briskly over the entire tail. Wrap the tail in a well-floured cloth, place on a rack above a pot of boiling water, cover, and steam until done through.

Unwrap and serve hot, accompanied by your favorite sauce. Serves 12
