There was a brief description of Adari (inc. street plan, personalities, politics) in an early issue of "Tales of the Reaching Moon" (#3? Before my time, anyway). I *believe* it was written by Oliver (Griselda) Dickinson, and included comments by Greg Stafford which highlighted the differences between Oliver's and his own visions of the town. I am pretty sure it will be included in the "Best of Tales" volume due out some time this year. But none of this is "official", though all of it was published (and may soon be republished).

The *real* challenge is choreographing your enemy's moves. If you can do that, you've won.

Brian writes much that is sensible about the GTA. However, analysing it as a business proposal designed to reward investors with value greater than their initial investment does rather miss the point. The GTA comes across as a desperate plea for charitable donations to salvage a wrecked business plan scuppered by prescient investor-protection laws; not a sound opportunity to invest in a profitable business and reap timely and proportionate rewards.

If you agree to support Greg and Glorantha out of pure charity (as "Patrons of the Arts"), you can hardly whinge about the "terms" on offer. If you wish there was a better way to fund continued Gloranthan publications, you are not alone. I, for my part, worry that the continued liveliness and viability of the fan scene (such as it is) will be wrecked when con-goers need to present their GTA Secret Decoder Rings (1st Class) in order to gain admission to events...

Cheers, Nick
