GTA rampant

First off: The only reason I'd want to become a member is to get hold of stuff hot off the press, not as a long term investment. Please read the rest of this in that context, especially as I wasn't going to mention this again. However other people started the thread up again... ("'twasn't me Guv'n'or, Don't send me back up t'chimney!")

It was something David Cake said. He said: "And yes, the cost benefits do not really weight up."

Erm, they used to add up a bit more conclusively before they cocked up the share issuing thing, didn't they? It looks to me (who is perhaps overly cynical of the motivation of people who own companies) that if the GTA can't offer something comparable to the benefits mentioned in the original planned share issue then either:

(a) Someone didn't do their sums properly;
(b) There's some other reason.

If it's (a), great, we all make mistakes, never mind, have the cash. If it's
(b), what is it? Come clean and still have the cash.

He also mentioned that they (as in Chaosium) made an Arthurian RPG. Didn't they flog that off (okay, passed the rights to it) as repayment to someone who'd loaned 'em cash?

Ash
