Pavis mother was an aldryami - this may mean that she was a dryad, a plant entity well known to procreate from sex with humans.

OTOH, this was during the Theyalan Third Council era which repeated the crossbreeding the Theyalan First Council practiced for some time (see Gwalynkus the Good, in Dorastor).

I wouldn't. Pavis was exceptional in his ancestry, a magical creature.

DnD half-elves and half-orcs translate as ordinary humans with unusual cults. DnD elves don't translate well at all, the closest I can think of are Brithini or Vadeli for life expectancy, or trolls for fun with nonhuman attitudes. Dwarfs are difficult, too, but less so.
