It depends on your cultural paralell. For example according to Jewish law it is wrong to consume the blood of an animal. They believe the animal's spirit is in it's blood. On the other hand the massai drink the blood of their cattle mixed with milk. I'd say the Praxians probably tend towards the latter practice myself.
