<<bulky, furry (we assume) body with short hind legs, sloping hindquarters, a long, somewhat horselike face and big curved claws on its feet. Imagine a gorilla with claws and a horse's head and you're not far off the mark. It would have been a bit awkward to ride, what with the tendency to slip off the sloping back, but no worse than many other animals the Praxians ride. >>
So Moropi (Moropuses?) are related to Tapirs as they are Tapered and slope off towards the rear.
