Andrew since when do you see herd on Impala & Zebra wandering through the mid-west of North America, Rhino's rubbing shoulders with Buffalo, not on any continent I know. If American & African animals can wander around the Wastes then why not a Giant Wombat?

Surely if Bloody Jeff can stalk Glorantha, there is room for a herd of big Wombats.

How else did the badlands in Vulture country get created but by thier friends the giant wombats. Over the centuries the wombats have carved the away the rocks below Vulture nests in order to protect them from people/creatures who should try to capture/eat the Vulture's young/eggs. Working only under cover of darkness these large diggers toil away, at there task

The Noble Wombat's friends to Giant Vultures (and the occasional tasty treat).

; )

(of course you have to be wary of the evil Hairy nosed variety)
