<drops Invisibility for a moment - a very Trickster like thing to do>

Been reading the comments on Humakt and on the nature of Chaos and the ease of using it as an enemy, etc. These overlap a little here, with the comments on the Lead Cross HQ, etc, and the arguments about Storm Bull as a social outsiders cult in Prax. A lot of the comments about Humakt are from an Orlanthi clansman POV, i.e. those cool hard dudes with the big swords are real handy to have around when we want to bash up (insert enemy name here), and hey , I grew up with that guy, he's ok , etc. In other places, Humakt is not such a nice or socially acceptable cult, almost as bad as some of the Chaotics to some people - frex Kingdom of War is led by Humakti... and guess what the locals think of them! In an old WF I have lying around somewhere, there was a little chart, showing where various deities might be placed on a good - evil chart.. Humakt is past neutral, and into the evil side, as I recall...not very far, but all the same....

Still, that does not mean that Humakti are not fine and interesting characters to play in an Orlanthi setting.. in fact, I think they are, cos they raise all sorts of questions about your cultural stereotypes, by acting against said stereotypes. And, of course, you can only laugh at the Sword Ducks once... :-))

In other places, Humakt is worshipped by guys like the local executioner... a bit of a social outcast if you ask me. And look at all those Geasa from CoP/GoG - "Drink no alcohol" sheesh.. what a weirdo say all the Orlanthi in the longhouse.. - bet he is the guy in charge of the cart on the night out! lol (But he would do it, too, because all those Orlanthi drunkards are his (ex) kin..... and still his friends, comrades etc)

It is interesting though, that although (technically) a Wind Voice can command a Storm Khan, he cant command a Sword... You can see why these guys get the top jobs in the bodyguard line.. apart from the fact that you KNOW they will put their ugly mugs in the way of that sword/arrow/scimitar/axe for you. Not going to step out of the way for some other Storm worshipper...

Enough ramblings......
