Could the Fronelian Nameless Man be the spirit of King Snodal? You know, after he killed the God of Communication he would not have been able to identify himself anymore and so on... Maybe he knows the secret of the Kingdom of War, and to discover this secret he must identified. As soon as one does recognize him, the curse is broken and he is free to speak. Something like the Fisher King who would be healed when the right person asks the right question.
