Yes. Your point? ;-) Well, mystics may or may not say reality, magic, gods, etc are Illusions, per se. Your Mystic May Vary. But they all say something to the effect that they are dangers/temptations/etc that one must not fall into -- that sorta thing. But magic is a _particular_ danger. Robin at Convulsion described the Mystics viewing The Other Side as the Garden of Temptations. Worshipping a god, or casting a magic spell, are much surer ways of getting yourself mired in the Transient than are having a bowl of cornflakes of a morning.

Let me phrase it like this: magic and gods are areas in which it is most likely, and most hazardous, that one will Incorrectly Perceive the true nature of things.

An old MotM dealt with the Mashunasan view of this, didn't it?
