I am still of the opinion that people eaten by the Crimson Bat (an possibly other chaos monsters) suffer from this True Death/Annihilation rather than just Death where the soul (or in some cases souls) carries on. Viewed from a mystic liberation point of view this may not be as bad as all that. To an Orlanthi like myself this is pretty scary.
