The Pendragon Model

Were I to go up to 20 people in Ithaca and ask them "Could you please tell me something about the setting of the King Arthur stories?" If I got an answer, the majority of them (presuming native of English-speaking countries) would be able to at least agree on certain salient points.

Were I to say the same, but substituting "Argrath" for "Arthur", I'd not get nearly as much consensus (unless you count versions of "Que?" as "consensus"). This is why Pendragon is a poor model whereby to prognisticate about Glorantha-based games.
