<But the best Second Sight I've

seen was in the works of Poul Anderson, especially The Shattered Sword.>

I believe that's "The Broken Sword"

<Poul A is indeed a very very fine source for inspiration>

and

<Speaking of Poul his 'The Mermaids Children' is a excellent source for
sea based campaigns.>

Can't resist the temptation to plug one of my favorite authors here. Anderson is indeed an excellent source for Glorantha style material, he often gives us a detailed picture of two or more cultures and how they interact. If you want ideas for an Orlanthi vs. Lunar campaign you could use "The King of Ys" series, which he co-authored wth his wife, Karen. The Rogaviki people in "The Winter of the World" can likewise be used for ideas about the Hsunchen, while those who want an open world Glorantha can use "Three Hearts and Three Lions" and other tales were the Old Phoenix Inn appears for a less "noisy" version of world-hopping than Moorcock's.
