Likely most of the locals shouting "He's a Godlearner! Burn him!" while the players frantically search the Storm Voice's rooms for that map of the Machine City that HAS to be hidden there. =)
On the city thread, Flying Buffalo's "Citybook" series has useful neighborhood plug-ins that could easily be adapted to a Gloranthan setting. I've even used the hoary old City State of the Invincible Overlord on occasion.
