Usually, yes.

Very few chaotics have any real entropic abilities, and as a rule of thumb, if such abilities aren't specifically contained in a monster's description, then it doesn't have them. Such abilities are probably more prevalent among chaotic Heroquesters, though.

A few chaotics have Entropic chaos features. Most of these features actually affect the chaotic, and it becomes an incomplete entity, either physically or spiritually (many (perhaps most) broos who don't have a RQ Chaotic Feature have spiritual mutations, some of them entropic). Entropic spiritual mutations might annihilate the chaotic's capacity for love, hatred, fear, or other emotions; or its ability to speak, or write; its ability to use magic; its ability to learn; etc ... (Non-entropic spiritual mutations give you a Weird and twisted mind; you go stark, raving mad)

Some unusual entropic chaotics *do* annihilate whatever they destroy, usually by devouring, dismembering, acid, or some similar method; they are rare, because entropic chaos features almost inevitably annihilate or mutilate the creatures who receive them, rather than giving them the power of doing so to others. Some gorps permanently destroy anything they digest, but probably no more than 1 gorp in 100. There are a few broos who can do the same using an ordinary weapon. Very unusual, though.

I actually had a whole table of entropic chaos features but  ... it's disappeared !!

cheers,

Julian Lord
