In CoT it says that Vivamort and the air gods had a bit of a dust up and neither side particularly won - that's why Sylphs have the weakest effect of all elementals on Vampires. Does anyone know anything more about this or is this oblique hint all I've got to go on?

If you've answered that one, for five further points: In the same section it mentions the Sun and Fire being different elements. Is this true, a mental aberation or a piece of anal rhetoric?
