I'm (wisely I hope!) staying out of the current HW debate untill I get my paws on a copy of the rules.....BUT

I do hope your refering to natural breaks in play as a session, not a session of play. After all some people play 10-12 hour indepth character full of meaning full roleplaying once a month.......and some of us sit in the pub alternately Role-playing, drinking and trying to chat up barmaids for a few hours every week. A big flaw I noticed in the written rules of some of the newer 'story teller' games is the 'For every play session 1 pt for survival, 1pt for any danger, 1pt for good roleplaying etc etc'. Now any reasonable GM will rationlise this down so we dont get massively powerfull characters from sitting round in the pub doing nothing much but drink regulary...while the 12 hour 'deep character submersion' GM will hand out ooodddles of Dp, Karma, Rune points or wot ever game stchtik is used. But 'set' rewards per session are a mistake.
