Apologies for the sublect line pun, I just can't resist the image of a Spinal Tap style "Moonrockumentary, if you will.." dealing with the Seven Mothers. "How more black phase can it be? None! None more Black phase".... "That thin line between cleverness and insanity"..."have cyclical time..all the time.. that 's my philosophy Marty" "Smell the Bat" etc etc.

Chris Bell:
<< I'm absolutely sure that at least one of the 7 Mothers would have been
familiar with the Lightbringer mysteries, probably Irripi Ontor. To hell with this
revisionism, I *like* the idea of IO being an "Outlaw Priest of Lhankor Mhy", as opposed to a retconned Yuthuppan Seer. >>

I had Irripi Ontor as Yanafal's Vizir, a Magi. With the Carmanians having a 'brute band of gods' I had Irripi as a Vizir who specialised in Lankhor Mhy worship, although they called him something else. I certainly had him as a Carmanian. However, as that Empire covered most of Peloria, it is reasonable that he could have come from anywhere within it. I never thought that he was a Buserian or any sort of Yelmic scholar. Of course within my vision of the Seven Mothers I see Yanafal as the Fire, Danfive as the Ice and Irripi as the Luke Warm Water. Clearly, She Who Waits plays Drums, or something.

<< It could have well been that IO was originally a priest of LH from
Tarsh/Saird who became Illuminated, studied sorcery, went north and became a Buserian. That's the great thing about Illumination...it's so  great at reconsiling *contradictions*, and a great case can be made for IO organizing
the whole Red Goddess conspiracy from beginning to end. >>
