This seems a tad high to me; unless your clan is particularly large, or you wait longer than the (I think) typical/customary three-ish years between initiations, you'd typically have more like 30 in total, of which half will be boys (d'oh). I haven't checked this against my e-noughts, so I stand ready to be actuaried clear off the Digest, if Nick or some other such type spot a boo-boo here...

I believe the traditionally polite term is 'tribute'; I can only agree with the gangsterish connotations you attach to these War Clan t'ugs. ;-) (The Orlanthi Mafia: we're going to make you an offer you won't be able to fail to _hear_, at any rate...)
Personal bias disclaimer: Whenever I play KoDP I seem to get abuse from my weaponthanes et al. about being too much of a peacenik, so maybe I'm just naturally a Peace Clan punter.)
