So is there any way to keep my priestesses from dying on "Ernalda Feeds the Tribe" quest? It is a virtual death sentence for me, and I haven't resorted to save and restart yet...

The last time I tried, I had a trickster on the ring, 7 points of clan magic, a great temple to Ernalda, points put into Questing at holy time, and I made sure I fully learned the quest.

"Making of the Storm Tribe" is a piece or cake...
