Since I believe Derik Pol Joni to be a Gloranthan analogue of Derek Trotter of 'Only Fools and Horses' then I guess Barbarian Town must be Peckham. In a more level three mode, I like the idea of everyone having a different name for the place; Pol Joni Town, Home, Horse Town, Big Hat Town, Fort Derik, etc etc.
