The Doraddi probably have some theist elements, but more to the point have not just pure shamanism, but almost the full gamut of animist techniques, some of which are pretty much restricted to shamanic specialists, but some of which are more widely accessible. There are powerful animist magicians who are not shamans, including some that possess only a few shamanic abilities, and some that rely only on other animist magic.

I agree with Peter on this one very definately. There are pure practitioners, but they are a minority.
