>>I think if it was truly a mystic institution, then like the Gerra

>Have I (or Alex) said or implied otherwise?

Alex has been awfully weaselly on this one, admitting that the Kralori *could* well have used the ITC for various pragmatic purposes, even in large numbers, but not really admitting to any stated position on what they *did* do. Which could be regarded as an implication, but I think is a deliberate dance along the fence.

And Martin and I obviously think you are wrong the on the handful of people. So it would appear that we have arrived at a simple irreconcilability. If it turns out that the ITC did indeed have a population in the dozens, you are probably largely correct, if they turn out to be the rather larger affairs, I am probably correct. It will be become clear eventually.

>>Besides - Frenzypeace is regarded as a valid mystical path by its

>The Frenzypeace practictioners are mistaken.

According to various orthodox mystics (well, Serd Marnad and Reha Manari specifically). But does that mean that they are objectively wrong from all points of view? They certainly manifest working magic, and achieve their stated aims of manifesting great mystic powers (I think they can even contact Atrilith, not the big deal but not bad). Sure, the orthodox mystics all scoff, but that doesn't mean its wrong from our point of view.

>> And ascetism is a practice, not a path on its own - plenty of

>Such as?

Harsh ascetism isn't even restricted to mystics. Ascetic theists are hardly going to meet with mystic approval.
