	   little further stretch of the imaginatition _to some unspecified
	   degree_ (emphasis due to raging debate on this topic)
	   'misused', or 'adapted' to get rid of 'inconvenient',
	   'troublesome', or 'especially hated' people, all of
	   which Sheng would qualify for in spades.  (Gland slam,
	   doubled and redoubled, both sides vulnerable, gland slam,
	   in fact.)
